2nd Annual Halloween Fearless 5K Saturday, October 30, 2010 Celebrate Courage Como Lake, St Paul Start time: 9:30 AM Printable Registration Form Register online via Active.com 2009 Race Photos and Results Thanks to Curt Lyons for these Pro-photos of the 1st Annual Halloween Fearless 5k 5k & 1.5 Mile Fun Fitness Walk ‘round lovely Como Lake on USATF certified 5k course. Shirt Pick-up & Race Day Registration @ Lakeside Pavilion near start/finish opens @ 8:30 AM. Kids Fun ¼ or ½ Mile Run @ 10:45 AM: Either free without shirt or $13 including shirt. A signed-by-parent/guardian entry form must be turned in no later than 9:15 AM at race day registration even for free entry option. Each child will receive their own bib #1. Cheerful, welcoming volunteers, Halloween Music, announcer shout-outs, designer shirt, treats, holiday costumes, fabulous online post-event photographic slideshow, free & convenient parking.
Entry Fee: $24 pre-registered/$30 race day. Limited to 700 entries - Register early & come earn the Halloween Fearless 5k “Celebrate Courage - Chase Away Fears” shirt Only 4% of Americans ever run & less than 2% ever run/walk a road race! Most non-exercisers fear exercise, or fear that their own efforts to improve their health/fitness will be a fruitless waste of time. Actively demonstrate your friendly fearlessness as an active runner/walker by sharing your run/walk with others who may have been fearful of RxExercise and entering a 5k road race.
Runners & walkers will be demonstrating the Power of RxExercise to improve lives, including overcoming fears, especially the many of us who are living well and courageously beyond health challenges like arthritis, brain injuries, cancer, diabetes, anxiety & depression, and heart disease with RxExercise. |
